Artificial Intelligence (AI) based technologies have been steadily permeating into our lives. However, this is just the beginning. AI has the potential of upending how we conduct our lives, how the economy is transacted, and how our communities are organized. In this blueprint document we provide an overview of AI in the context of Qatar as a country, identify the key pillars to build a great AI research and innovation ecosystem in Qatar and follow those with recommendations for action.

Our vision is to have AI so pervasive in all aspects of life, business and governance in Qatar that everyone looks up to Qatar as a role model for AI+X nation.
