Regulating the Use of Artificial Intelligence by QCB Licensed Entities
Part A - General Provisions
Article 1 - Short Title & Commencement
The instructions set forth herein are titled the "Artificial Intelligence Guideline" for 2024 and shall enter into force as of 04/09/2024.
Article 2 - Definitions
For the purpose of this guideline, the following terms are defined as follows, unless the context otherwise suggests.

1 | Al Model | A software program or Algorithm trained using specific data to recognize certain patterns and uses to perform specific tasks. |
2 | Al Trust, Risk & Security Management (TRiSM) | A mechanism that supports an Al Model's governance, trustworthiness, fairness, reliability, robustness, transparency and data protection. |
3 | Algorithm | A set of commands that must be followed for a computer to perform calculations or other problem-solving operations. |
4 | Artificial Intelligence (Al) | A set of technologies that seek to simulate human traits such as knowledge, reasoning, problem solving, perception, learning and planning, and depending on the Al Model, produce an output or decision (such as a prediction, recommendation, or classification). |
