Subject: Sale of Home Use COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests

After Compliments,

Due to the current global situation with COVID 19 pandemic and the raised demand on use of home antigen rapid tests, the Directorate would like to draw your attention that the only approved home rapid antigen test device by DGPA&DC are allowed to be marketed in pharmacies.

All home antigen rapid test must be assessed by medical device control department to get the necessary approval before the importation and marketing in Oman.
