Sub: Survey of Local Medical Device and Supplies' Companies

As part of the Ministry of Health's efforts to regulate the medical devices and supplies sector, we would like to inform you that a survey campaign will be conducted for companies operating in this field in accordance with the Law on Regulating the Profession of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Establishments issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 35/2015, and its Executive Regulations issued by Oman Ministerial Decision No. 113/2020. The survey is scheduled to begin in July 2025 and will continue for the duration necessary to complete the process.

This survey aims to ensure companies' compliance with the laws and regulations governing medical devices, and to support the market's readiness to adhere to regulatory systems.

All companies operating in this sector are required to review and comply with the periodic requirements issued by the Drug Safety Centre, which are available on the Ministry of Health's official website.
