Having perused the provisions of Articles 4-01 and 5 of the Omani Banking Law of 1974,

The Board of Governors decided the following:

The text of Article 1a was replaced by virtue of Article 1 of Oman Central Bank Decision No. MM/201/06/23/22/2024 dated 05/02/2024, to read as follows:

• (a) Local banks shall submit to the Central Bank of Oman, during the first quarter of each year, statements of their assets and liabilities, including a profit and loss account and all their operations and branches within the Sultanate of Oman, within their annual budget, provided that they are audited by independent auditors. As for the foreign banks, the Central Bank of Oman shall determine the date for submitting such statements.

• (b) Such statements shall include the items set forth in the forms required by the Central Bank for these purposes.
