Subject: Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/39/5/1995 On Implementation of Bank Deposits Insurance Scheme.
After Compliments,
Member Banks of the Bank Deposits Insurance Scheme are hereby advised that Article 6 (b) of the captioned Regulation was amended and published in the Official Gazette No. 679, issued September 16, 2000 as per copy attached.
Member Banks are, therefore, required to calculate the annual premium at the rate of 0.03% as stipulated by the provisions of the amended Regulation.
Member Banks are also reminded that the deadline for submitting the Statements of Computation of Annual Premium Payable and Net Amounts Payable thereof, as Deposit Insurance Obligation, is the last working day of January 2001.
