Subject: Cash- In- Transit

We invite the attention of all Banks to CBO’s letter No. BA&DD/CD/96/717 dated May 21, 1996, regarding the CASH-IN- TRANSIT & ESCORING SERVICES, which are provided by M/s. Security and Fire Prevention Services. LLC, (SFPS), (a copy of the letter is enclosed).

All Banks are hereby advised that they should avail SFPS’s CASH-IN-TRANSIT & ESCORING SERVICES for all their Cash dealings with the Central Bank of Oman (i.e., the collection and delivery of all cash to and from the Central Bank of Oman).

Banks are also advised to avail the CASH- IN-TRANSIT & ESCORTING SERVICES for all their cash movements within in the Sultanate.
