Subject: Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/38/04/1994 - Governing Investment Banking Activities in the Sultanate of Oman

Please ﬁnd attached herewith Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/38/04/1994, governing Investment Banking Activities in the Sultanate of Oman published in the Ofﬁcial Gazatte No. 526 dated May 1, 1994.

Licensed Banks are required to implement and adhere to the provisions of the attached Regulation in relation to all Investment Banking activities.

This Regulation shall be effective after 30 days from publication in the ofﬁcial Gazette i.e. May 31, 1994.

Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/38/04/1994 - Governing the Investment Banking Activities in the Sultanate of Oman

Pursuant to the provisions of the Banking Law of 1974 and Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/32/12/1988 and in accordance with the Resolution No. BG/920/84/3/ 94/12 of the Board of Governors at its meeting held on 27 March 1994 the following has been decided:

Article 1

The Regulation is issued to regulate and supervise Investment banking activities in all aspects in the Sultanate of Oman; such activities as deﬁned in article 4 in this Regulation.
