Subject: Reporting of Banking Return Forms 1 Through 6

1. All commercial banks are at present submitting the above forms on a monthly basis within 15 days of every following month.

2. As the figures for the year end are likely to undergo changes due to the appropriations made at the time of final audit, banks are henceforth required to report figures for the year end once again based on the audited financial statements.

3. The audited data for the year ending December 31, 1991 and every financial year thereafter should be submitted not later than the 30th April of the following year. As at present, these forms should be prepared and submitted in duplicate as two complete sets. The original to be directed to the Department of Research and Statistics and a copy to the Implementation and Follow-up Department.

4. Banks are also requested to provide the data for the year ended 1990 to form the base for building up future time series.
