Subject: Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/34/10/1989 Banking Hours

Annexed please ﬁnd a copy of Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/34/10/1989 published in the Ofﬁcial Gazette No. 416 dated October 1, 1989.

All banks are required to adhere to the provisions of the said Regulation from the date of its enforcement.

After perusing the provisions of Articles 2-1.09(n) and 4-1.03 of Oman Law No. 7/1974 and Oman Regulation No. BM/001/3/1975 regarding banking hours,

The following has been decided:

All licensed banks shall be open for banking business from 8 a.m. to 8 p. m. as follows:
- a) Saturday through Wednesday: All Banks shall be open to public from 8 a.m. to 12.00 midday.
- - Ramadhan: 9.am. to 12 midday
  - Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
  - Ramadhan: 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
