Subject: Re-Discount of Commercial Paper in Salalah Branch

With reference to Article 2-1.09(c) and 2-2.03 of the Banking Law 1974 and Oman Regulation No. BM/REG/018/12/79 regarding the purchase, discount and re-discount of commercial paper.

We are pleased to announce that our Salalah Branch shall start rediscounting commercial paper effective July, 1st, 1986. However, the banks availing of these facilities shall ensure that their drawings on this account from the Central Bank does not exceed the overall limits prescribed for individual banks in this respect.
