Attached herewith is Oman Regulation No. 022/9/1981 issued by the Board of Governors of the Central Bank concerning the lending of Rial Omani to non-residents and placements with banks or financial institutions abroad which has been published in the Official Gazette No. 230 dated December 1st 1981.

1. All licensed banks are required to comply with the provisions of this Regulation.

2. Banks are requested to provide the Banking Control Department within ten days from the date of this Circular with a statement showing the existing balances of the Bank according to the attached table named ‘deposits, loans and advances in RO to non-residents’.
