Attached herewith is Oman Regulation No. 20/9/1980 entitled Publication of Assets and Liabilities. This Regulation was published in the Official Gazette No. 204 on 1st November 1980. All Banks are required to fulfill the provisions of this Regulation in accordance with the Banking Law.

Oman Central Bank Circular No. BM/REG/020/9/80-4-5.01 - Publication of Assets and Liabilities of Licensed Banks Within the Sultanate

After reference to the provisions of Article 4-5.01 of the Banking Law 1974.

  1. a. Each licensed bank shall submit to the Central Bank an Annual

  2. In addition to the above, all licensed banks shall prepare a Summary of their Assets and Liabilities in Arabic, in accordance with the form attached to this Regulation, as of December 31st each year.

  3. This Summary shall be clearly displayed in the public area of each branch of the licensed bank and at such other locations where a licensed bank is authorised to transact business. The summary as of December 31st shall be so displayed for the whole month of March.
