Re: List of Returns to be Submitted by Licensed Banks to Central Bank of Oman

  1. Attention of licensed banks is invited to Circular BM 882 dated 23 January 2000.

  2. Attached is the list of returns updated for ease of guidance (superseding the above).

  3. Licensed banks shall note the same and arrange to comply with the requirements, as applicable. Banks, having no figures to report, shall submit “NIL” reports.

  4. Considering the relevance of prescribed submissions for regulatory. supervisory, compliance, statistical and policy requirements, banks shall ensure accuracy and timeliness and note that they shall attract penalties otherwise – as provided in the Oman Sultani Decree No. 114/2000/Regulation BM/ REG/012/5/78/circular instructions.
