Attached herewith please find a copy of Regulation No. BM/REG/52/11/2007, published in the Official Gazette No.852 dated December 1, 2007.
All licensed banks and financial institutions operating in the Sultanate of Oman are required to adhere to the provisions of the said Regulation.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Banking Law, issued by Oman Sultani Decree No. 114/2000 as amended, and the Resolution No. BOG/1982/137/3/07/10 of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank, adopted at its meeting held on 25th of March 2007, and in accordance with public interest, the following has been decided:
