Within the efforts exerted to contain the spread of the pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to implement the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with handling the developments resulting from the spread of the new Coronavirus dated March 22, 2020, the Capital Market Authority urges all insurance companies to implement the following procedures urgently:-

1. Head office: Suspend all manual services that require visit and reception of policyholders for all types of insurances, close all services counters and suffice with rendering the service electronically only through social media, online through the internet and smart applications.

2. Advertise to the policyholders in you electronic media that you will not be able to receive them in your head office and that the service would be provided only through the electronic media and applications.

3. Documents related to claims would only be accepted through the electronic media.

4. Provide a communication centres working 24/7 to render the various services to policyholders including underwriting, claims, inquiries and support.
