In accordance with Article (20) of Commercial Companies Law (RD 18/2020) which states that "The CMA shall establish principles for corporate governance, which are binding upon public shareholding companies and companies in which the government owns shares and the Ministry shall draw up the governance regulatory principles of the other companies";

And in continuation of the approach adopted by the CMA in presenting draft laws and regulations to the public with the aim of exploring their views and observations before adopting and publishing them;

The CMA is pleased to present to the public and the above-mentioned addressees the draft principles of corporate governance for companies in which the government owns shares (AKA State Owned Enterprises), which is accessible on its website at (www.cma.gov.om).
