Within the framework of efforts from public and private sector organizations to deal with the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the cooperation of everyone in this regard, given the importance of the role played by insurers in providing the required support for the community and the economy during the pandemic.

Based on the coordination between the CMA and the Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the outbreak, and CMA's coordination with the Omani Insurance Association on the coverage of medical tests and treatment of insured infected with coronavirus (COVID-19).

All insurance companies are kindly requested to comply with the following instructions:

1. Coverage of the costs of medical tests and treatment of insured infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) up to the annual benefit limits of their respective policies, when they receive treatment in any hospitals.
