We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for all the parties concerned with general meetings for their cooperation in complying with the procedures related to convening general meetings during the pandemic which had tangible effect on the success of the general meetings season during a record time.

In this respect, we would like to convey that the Capital Market Authority has reviewed the rules for convening general meetings of public joint stock companies and investment funds via electronic means issued vide Oman Capital Market Authority Decision No. E/25/2020 dated 16 April 2020, in line with the decisions of the Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with developments of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Hence, we would bring to your kind attention the importance of compliance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law on convening general meetings and the rules for convening general meetings via electronic means taking the following into account:
