Announcement from the Insurance Control Commission

Subject: Licensing of international experts companies and loss adjusters

Reference to Article 15 of Lebanon Decree no. 1205/1978 and within the framework of practising insurance expert activities in Lebanon, the Insurance Control Commission has launched the licensing process of international experts companies and loss adjusters.

Applicants must submit the following documents no later than 26 October 2020:

1. Company's bylaws duly registered in the country of origin.

2. Original copy of the company's Commercial Registration.

3. Official statement from country of origin proving the company's legal status and scope of activities.

4. Official documents related to the company's legal representative in Lebanon.

5. Official documents related to the company's allocated legal domicile in Lebanon.

Documents can be sent by email to loss-adjusters@insurancecommission.gov.lb or submitted as hardcopies to the Insurance Control Commission:
