Customs regulations relating to goods and currencies of passengers
Executive instructions relating to currencies of passengers
Currencies of more than ten thousand dollars would be subject to "customs regulations relating to goods and currencies of passengers" and passenger is required to inform customs authority.
Failure to comply with the above-said regulations shall result in penalties envisaged in Goods and Currencies Smuggling Law (2013).
No physical currency is allowed to be taken abroad unless the passenger has duly informed it. In such case, passenger is not authorized to take abroad another currency.
All those who have former statements (non-electronic) would have 6 months from 21.11.2016 to visit "cdf.irica.co" and register their statements and obtain tracking code.

Laws and Regulations Governing the Goods of Passengers
Departing passengers, either Iranian or non-Iranian, are authorized to take abroad Iranian products for any amount they wish and non-Iranian products for the amount that has been determined by law, provided that the products, whether Iranian or Non-Iranian, are not business commodities. This is in addition to their personal things that can take with themselves.
