Subject: Administration of Vaccines in Pharmacies

DHA extends its thankfulness and appreciation for the relentless cooperation and support provided by its strategic partners in health sector; in an effort to provide integrated health care system and improve the levels and quality of services provided in Emirate of Dubai.

Based on DHA jurisdiction and as part of its commitment to provide partners with all developments related to health practices or legislation and regulations governing the provision of health, curative, preventive services in the health sector in Dubai, and based on the Ministerial Decision No. 143/2022 of the year 2022 regarding the Administration of Vaccines in Pharmacies, which will be applicable from date of its issuance in official-gazette, and in line with DHA initiations to reinforce the preventive services in Dubai , DHA would like to draw attention to the following:

1. Licensed pharmacies can launch the administration of vaccine services; as per the vaccines permitted by DHA to be provided in their settings.
