For the company located outside Dubai Airport Freezone premises: Company request for employment above quota is automatically rejected.

The company is obliged to assign a designated PRO who will represent the company at Dubai Airport Freezone Customer Operations Department and will be responsible for delivering and collecting the official documents related to the company.

All Dubai Airport Freezone companies are obliged to use Dubai Airport Freezone employment contract for sponsored and non-sponsored employees. Any side contracts different from the contracts available at Dubai Airport Freezone are not recognized and will be rejected.

3 original copies of each employment contract must be issued, one of each for Dubai Airport Freezone, the company and the employee.

Minimum salary acceptable to sponsor an employee is AED 1,000 plus food, accommodation and transport allowances.

Number of employees a client is entitled to is based on allotted space as follows:

Office: 1 employee against every 12.5 sq/m

Light Industrial Unit Facilities: 20 employees

The Customer Operations Department is responsible to resolve labour issues and dispute cases between the employer and the employee.
