  • As law students, we are taught valuable skills like how to read and understand the law, how to analyse and apply the law, how to write about the law, and how to advocate for clients. We often vastly improve our communication and critical thinking skills and often learn valuable negotiation and mediation skills that may make us a fine lawyer. But do we learn leadership skills? That is, for a profession that produces so many leaders, whether in law, government, or otherwise, are we taught those skills that will help us lead?
