Personal and Company Property Clauses

1 Personal and Employer property

1.1 You acknowledge and agree that:

  • 1.1.1 you are responsible for all items of personal property you bring to the Employer's premises;

  • 1.1.2 the Employer is not responsible for any loss of or damage to any items of personal property you bring to its premises;

  • 1.1.3 you will take good care of all items of company property provided to you in the course of your employment and use them only in the course of your duties;

  • 1.1.4 you will take particular care to ensure the security and confidentiality of all documents, disks, drives and other hardware containing any Confidential Information, in particular by not removing them from the Employer's premises except where it is necessary to do so for the proper performance of your duties;

  • 1.1.5 you will shred all confidential documents and delete all confidential data for which you no longer have any use [subject to and in accordance with the Employer's enter name of relevant policy, e.g., document and data retention policy, a copy of which is available from insert job title OR on the intranet];
