This Precedent is a suggested definition for copyright. However, care should be given to ensure conformity with Kuwait Law No. 75/2019 on the Issuance of the Law of Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights.

Copyright means the property right subsisting by the law of any applicable jurisdiction in any literary, dramatic, musical, artistic work, and in any sound recording, film or broadcast, or other work expressing the author's own intellectual creation [together with related rights such as moral rights and performer's rights].
