Qatar ratified the United Nations Convention against Corruption (the UN Convention) by virtue of Qatar Decree No. 17/2007 under the condition that Qatar is not bound by paragraph 2 of article 66 of the UN Convention related to arbitration and dispute referral to the International Court of Justice.

Furthermore, by virtue of Qatar Decision No. 37/2012, Qatar ratified the Arab Convention for Fighting Corruption dated 21 December 2010 (the Arab Convention).
