Egypt is a contracting state to the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the New York Convention). On 9 March 1959, Egypt acceded to the New York Convention by Egypt Presidential Decree No. 171/1959, and the New York Convention entered into force on 7 June 1959. No declarations or reservations were made.
