Individuals or owners of personal data (owners) enjoy several rights in relation to the processing of their personal data under Oman Sultani Decree No. 6/2022 Promulgating the Personal Data Protection Law including, among other things, the right to obtain a copy of their processed personal data. Oman Sultani Decree No. 6/2022 does not set specific time limits. However, Oman Ministerial Decision No. 34/2024 Issuing the Implementing Regulation of the Personal Data Protection Law provides further guidance on the exercise of these rights by owners of personal data.
