Dubai: Crypto Assets Agreement Signed

Summary

Al Bayan, 21 March 2021: The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre has signed a cooperation agreement with the UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority.

The aim is to introduce a regulatory framework for companies working in crypto assets to offer, issue, list and trade in the Centre.

Under the agreement, these companies will be able to get licences which are tailored to their needs.

The Authority is also planning to organise the activities of post trading crypto assets in line with the policies launched in October 2020 to develop a complete system for crypto assets and Blockchain technology.
