Fn 25 Following the removal of Colonel Gaddafi from power in Libya, the coming months, if not years, will hold uncertainty and opportunity for Libya in equal measures.
The National Transitional Council (NTC) and the elected government thereafter, has the mammoth task of creating a new system of democratic government in a country whose history has included forty-two years of dictatorship; preceded by monarchy rule (from 1951 to 1969), and Italian colonial rule from the early twentieth century.
What Libya lacks in terms of democratic experience, it makes up for with the potential for growth.
