Background
A Respondent filed lawsuit No 293/2010 Umm Al Quwain against an Appellant company demanding they pays him 317,125 AED for work entitlements, 193,500 AED as an end-of-service gratuity, 18,000 AED as holiday pay, 100,000 AED for overtime and 6255 AED as a housing allowance. The Respondent claimed that he worked for 23 years and resigned but was not paid his entitlements so he filed the lawsuit.
