The year 2019 has witnessed a number of developments which are relevant to arbitration in the UAE. These range from developments in the prevailing case law precedent to the adoption of soft law instruments which assist in the conduct of arbitration in the UAE, both onshore and offshore, i.e. in the UAE-based judicial free zones.
