Regulation ON THE DIPLOMATIC, PRIVATE AND MISSION PASSPORTS
The Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution; and
Federal Law No. 1/1972 regarding the Jurisdictions of the Ministries and the Competences of the Ministers, and the amending laws thereof; and
Federal Law No. 17/1972 regarding the Nationality and Passports, and the amending laws thereof; and
Federal Law No. 45/1992 regulating the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the amending law thereof; and
Federal Law No. 4/1998 regarding the Diplomatic and Consular Corps; and the amending law thereof; and
Federal Decree-Law No. 11/2008 regarding the Human Resources in the Federal Government;
Has issued the following Regulation:
Article 1
In the implementation of the provisions hereof, the following terms and phrases shall have the meanings assigned for each of them unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates State.
Ministry: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister: The Minister of Foreign Affairs.
National: Whoever holds the nationality of the State in accordance with the provisions of the Nationality Law.
