Ministerial Decision No. 7/1985 Opening Ship Registration Offices in Each of Mina Rashid in Dubai And Mina Khalid in Sharjah
Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 26/1981 on the Commercial Maritime Law and its amendments; and
Further to Ministerial Decision No. 9/1982 concerning ship registration offices,
The following Decision was issued:
Article 1
Federal ship*[1] registration offices shall be opened in each of Mina Rashid in Dubai and Mina Khalid in Sharjah, in addition to the current registration office in the Ministry Office in Abu Dhabi. The aforementioned offices shall be established for this purpose and shall be equipped with records, registration forms and registration books. These offices shall directly report to the Maritime Inspection Department at the Ministry of Transport.
