The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation,
After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021 on the regulation of labour relations, and its amendments and Implementing Regulation;
Ministerial Decision No. 47/2022 on the regulation of the procedures of labour disputes and complaints, and its amendments;
Ministerial Decision No. 543/2022 on the administrative suspension of an establishment’s file;
Ministerial Decision No. 496/2023 on maintaining the worker's entitlements in the event of his death; and
Based on the work interest requirements,
Has decided:
Article 1
The employer shall submit an application to cancel the work permit of a deceased worker through the channels specified by the Ministry.
