Abrogates

Ministerial Decision No. 31/1985 dated 11/05/1985

The Minister of Economy and Trade,

After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amending laws;

Federal Law No. 5/1975 on the Commercial Register;

Federal Law No. 8/1984 on Commercial Companies and its amending laws;

Decision of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Ministerial Decision No. 34/1976 on the Implementing Regulation of said Federal Law No. 5/1975; and

Decision of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Ministerial Decision No. 31/1985 on the Procedures of Registration of Joint Stock Companies and Equities Partnership Companies in the Commercial Register,

Decided:

Article 1

In the application of the provisions of this Decision, the following expressions and terms shall have the meanings set against each:

State: The United Arab Emirates.

Ministry: The Ministry of Economy and Trade

Minister: The Minister of Economy and Trade

Competent Department: The Commercial Affairs Department at the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
