Ministerial Decision No. 600/2024 On the Regulation of the Issuance of Police Clearance Certificate
The Minister of Interior,
After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 On the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amendments;
Federal Decree-Law No. 31/2021 On the Promulgation of the Crimes and Penalties Law, and its amendments;
Federal Law No. 5/2022 Concerning Rehabilitation;
Federal Decree-Law No. 38/2022 On the Promulgation of the Criminal Procedure Law, and its amendments;
Ministerial Decision No. 181/2022 On Criminal Lists in the Ministry of Interior; and
Federal Administrative Decision No. 104/2023 On the Formation of a Committee to Organise and Monitor the Criminal Lists in the Ministry of Interior; and
Based on the work interest requirements,
Hereby decides as follows:
Article 1 - Definitions
In application of the provisions of this Decision, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: The Ministry of Interior.
Competent Authority: The Directorate General of the Federal Criminal Police or the organisational unit with competence at the police commands.
