Ministerial Decision No. 32/1982 On Determination of Methods and Measures to Protect Workers against Occupational Risks

The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs,

After perusal of the Provisional Constitution*[1], and

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amending laws, and

Federal Law No. 8/1980, on the Regulation of labour Relations and its amending Laws, and

After seeking the opinion of the Ministry of Health, and

Upon the proposal of the Deputy Ministers,

Has decided:

Article 1

Every employer*[2] is required to provide appropriate means of prevention to protect workers against work injuries and occupational diseases which occur during working hours in addition to fire hazards and other risks that may result from the use of machinery and other Work tools; moreover, said employer is required to adopt all other means of prevention as determined by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
