Ministerial Decision No. 259/2024 Concerning the Terms, Conditions, and Procedures for Forming the Board of Directors and Nominating Its Members

The Minister of Economy,

Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Minister, and its amendments;

Federal Decree-Law No. 6/2022 on Cooperatives;

Cabinet Decision No. 40/2023 on the organisational structure of the Ministry of Economy;

Cabinet Decision No. 55/2024 on the issuance of the Implementing Regulation of Federal Decree-Law No. 6/2022 on Cooperatives; and

Based on the proposal of the Under-secretary of the Ministry,

Has decided the following:

Article 1 - Definitions

The following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to them unless the context requires otherwise. Additionally, the terms appearing in this Decision shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Law:

Law	Federal Decree-Law No. 6/2022 on Cooperatives
Implementing Regulation	Cabinet Decision No. 55/ 2024 on the Implementing Regulation of Federal Decree-Law No. 6/2022 on Cooperatives.
