Ministerial Decision No. 247/2024 On the Guiding Code of Conduct in the Consumer Goods Sector

The Minister of Economy,

After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the Ministries and powers of the Ministers, and its amendments; and

Cabinet Decision No. 120/2022 on the rules and controls for pricing consumer goods in the State,

Hereby decides as follows:

Article 1 - Definitions

The definitions mentioned in Cabinet Decision No. 120/2022 on the rules and controls for pricing consumer goods in the State shall apply to the present Decision. Otherwise, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context requires otherwise: 

Code of Conduct: A guiding code that aims at regulating the contractual relationship between retailers and providers in the Sector of Consumer Goods.

Article 2 - Code of Conduct

  1. The Guiding Code of Conduct in the Sector of Consumer Goods shall be issued by virtue of this Decision, to regulate the contractual relationship between the retailer and the provider, and shall be annexed to this Decision.
