Ministerial Decision No. 239/2018 On the National Food Accreditation and Registration System
The Minister of Climate Change and Environment,
After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 On the Competencies of Ministries and Powers of Ministers, and its amending laws;
Federal Law No. 10/2015 On Food Safety and its Implementing Regulation; and
Cabinet Decision No. 32/2017 Concerning the Organisational Structure of the Ministry; and
Based on the public interest requirements,
Has decided as follows:
Article 1
The Electronic Food Registration System (ZAD) shall be adopted as a national food accreditation and registration system according to the requirements and procedures contained in the Annex attached to this Decision.
Article 2
The competent department at the Ministry shall update the Annex attached to this Decision based on any new developments in coordination with the competent local authorities.
Article 3
The definitions of the terms and expressions that appear in the Annex attached to this Decision shall be based on Federal Law No. 10/2015*[1] On Food Safety and its Implementing Regulation.
The terms “registration” and “accreditation” shall have the meanings assigned against each:
