Ministerial Decision No. 116/2014 On Import Conditions for Unregistered Veterinary Drugs

The Minister of Environment and Water,

After perusal of Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments;

Federal Law No. 10/2002 on the practice of the Veterinary Medicine Profession, and its Implementing Regulation;

Federal Law No. 4/1983 on the Profession of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Institutions;

Cabinet Decision No. 27/2013 on the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Environment and Water;

Ministerial Decision No. 383/2010 on Health and Technical Conditions of Veterinary Medical warehouses;

Based on the coordination with the Ministry of Health and in order to regulate the import of veterinary medical products used in the treatment of various animals, to ensure the safety of food of animal origin as well as preserve public health, and

Based on the Public Interest Requirements,

Has issued the following decision:

Article 1

Veterinary warehouses may import unregistered veterinary drugs according to the following requirements:

1- Licence of a veterinary warehouse from the Ministry of Environment and Water.

2- Certificate of Registration of the manufacturing company at the Ministry of Health.
