Federal Law No. 8/2007 On the Establishment of two Federal Courts of First Instance in Khor Fakkan and Kalba cities in the Emirate of Sharjah
We, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates,
After perusal of the Constitution;
Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the competencies of the ministries and the powers of ministers and its amending laws;
Federal Law No. 6/1978 on the establishment of Federal Courts and the transfer of the competencies of local judicial authorities in certain Emirates;
Federal Law No. 3/1983 on the federal judicial power and its amending laws;
Upon the proposal of the Minister of Justice, the approval of the Cabinet and the Federal National Council and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,
Have issued the following Law:
Article 1
A Federal court of first instance shall be established in each of Khor Fakkan and Kalba cities affiliated to the Emirate of Sharjah.
The first shall be named Khor Fakkan Federal Court of First Instance*[1] , and the Summary Court of Dibba Al-Hisn shall be one of the circuits affiliated thereto.
The second shall be named Kalba Federal Court of First Instance*[2] .
