We, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates State;

Pursuant to the perusal of the provisional*^[2] Constitution; and

Federal Law No.1/1972 on the Jurisdiction of the Ministries and the Powers of the Ministers, and its amending laws; and

Federal Law No. 4/1976 on the establishment and organization of the United Arab Emirates University, and its amending laws; and

Federal Law No. 12/1976 on the Police and Security Force, and its amending laws; and

Federal Law No. 1/1985 on Police Academy; and

Upon what has been submitted by the Minister of Interior, the approval of the Cabinet and the Federal National Council, and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council;

Have promulgated the following Law:
