Federal Law No. 8/1984 dated 20/03/1984

We, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates State,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Provisional Constitution; and

Federal Law No. 1/1972 on the jurisdictions of ministries and competences of ministers and the amending laws thereof; and

Federal Law No. 5/1975 on the commercial register; and

Federal Law No. 13/1976 on the cooperative societies; and

Federal Law No. 10/1980 on the central bank, monetary system and regulation of the banking profession; and

And Federal Law No. 18/1981 on the regulation of commercial agencies and the amending laws thereof; and

Federal Law No. 8/1984 on the commercial companies and the amending laws thereof; and

Federal Law No. 5/1985 on the issuance of the Civil Transactions Law of the United Arab Emirates State; and

Upon the proposal of the Minister of Economy and Commerce, and the approval of the Federal National Council and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council;
