We, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates States,

Pursuant to the perusal of the provisional*^[1] Constitution; and

Federal Law No. 1/1972 concerning the Jurisdiction of Ministries and the Powers of the Ministers and the amending laws thereof; and

Federal Law No. 9/1978 concerning the decorations and orders bestowed upon officers and other military personnel ranks working in the Ministry of Interior and its departments and the amendments thereof; and

Federal Law No. 3/1980 concerning the military orders, badges and medals and the amendments thereof; and

Acting upon the proposal of the Ministers of Defense and Interior, the approval of the Cabinet and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,

Have promulgated the following Law:
