FEDERAL LAW NO. 14/1974 ON THE PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT BENEFITS OF PRIME MINISTER, DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND THE MINISTERS
We, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates State,
Pursuant to the perusal of the Provisional*[1] Constitution; and
Federal Law No. 13/1973 regarding the Pensions and Retirement Benefits of Civil Employees; and
Federal Law No. 5/1972 regarding the Determination of the pays of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers; and
Acting upon the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Industry, the consent of the Cabinet and the approval of the Federal Supreme Council,
Have promulgated the following Law:
Article 1
The Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers shall be entitled, at the end of the service thereof in a ministerial position, a monthly pension due or a benefit pursuant to the following provisions:
Article 2
Should the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister or Minister spend an entire year or a part thereof, the monthly pension due thereto shall be calculated assuming that the duration of the service thereof reached fifteen years.
