Federal Decree No. 9/1981 On the Accession to an International Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft
We, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates,
After perusal of the temporary Constitution*[1],
Based on the proposal of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the approval of the Cabinet and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,
Have issued the following Decree:
Article 1
The accession of the United Arab Emirates to the International Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft, signed in Tokyo on 14 September 1963, shall be hereby approved, and the text of the Convention is attached to this Decree.
Article 2
The Ministers shall, each within his own competence, implement this Decree and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
