Federal Decree No. 97/2018 On the Accession of the State to the United Nations Convention on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)
We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates
-After perusal of the Constitution;
-Federal Law No. 1/1972 on Competencies of the Ministries and Powers of the Ministers and its amendments; and
-Upon the approval of the Council of Ministers and the ratification of the Federal Supreme Council,
Have issued the following Decree:
Article 1
The State's accession to the United Nations Convention on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) annexed hereto, shall be approved with a reservation to the provision of Article 11, paragraph (2), of the Convention.
Article 2
The Chairman of the Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport shall implement this Decree. The present Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.
